A Personal Touch Beauty Spa owner Kathy Kline opened the doors in January 2001 in a very small location in Whitesboro. Due to many happy guests and word-of-mouth, the business grew very rapidly, and after only three years Kathy needed to expand.
In September 2004, the business was relocated and expanded to a much larger location on Commercial Drive in Yorkville, where the ambiance and atmosphere quickly became recognized as the premier spa setting in the area. Much was invested in new services, equipment, technology and facilities. During this time, Kathy transformed the business from a true “one-woman show” to a full-scale day spa, with a complete staff of professionals including multiple massage therapists, estheticians, hair stylists, air brush tanning specialists and nail technicians. In addition, she also became the first in the region to offer a complete menu of hydrotherapy services with the area’s first true hydrotherapy system.
Throughout the early years, Kathy had always dreamed of the day when she could purchase her own building and expand her spa without limits. So, in August of 2010, A Personal Touch Beauty Spa again relocated, opening its new doors in New Hartford to a dramatically expanded facility of over twice the size of her previous location. Once again, along with the expansion came numerous additional services including a hot stone sauna, shower facilities, sugaring and threading techniques for hair removal, LED light stim facials, CBD massages and Knesko collagen treatments.
Kathy and her staff continue to bring both creative thoughts and positive energy in a true day spa environment. As a result of these efforts, the business continues to grow.
